Run for the Mountain Race - Soldiers Trail



A great day for the first race of the 7th Annual Flagstaff Summer Running Series. Results are now posted. Read Jacob May's Arizona Daily Sun race coverage. Next race is the June 4th NAC Sacred Mountain Prayer Run. Register at Virtual Roster today!

    Do you have to go under that timing tower? If so it needs to be at least double the width as overall results should based off gun time and not "chip time". Otherwise nice setup. It does seem that the series fee is getting a bit steep by the end of the online registration process.

    yes, you need to go under the tower. The gate will be wider in the future, however, this time the rocks at the traditional starting area prevented that. All chip timed races I am familiar with go by chip time, not gun time.

    Cash sponsorship was down this year so we had to raise the price of the series. All the proceeds of the series go to the non-profits. Prior to that, it had been the price same for 6 years, so we felt it was time to increase the fees per race $5. Best, Neil
